Bin Rentals

The District’s authorized commercial franchisee, Rainbow Disposal Service, 17121 Nichols Avenue, Huntington Beach, provides Rent-A-Bin and dumpster service for heavy clean up for your special needs. Residents of the Westminster and Midway City areas that are serviced by the Midway City Sanitary District can request an additional black or blue container. Because we encourage our residents to recycle as much as possible, additional blue containers are available free of charge for your recyclable materials. The District provides a second black container to residents at no additional charge. If more than two black containers are needed by a household, additional containers can be rented. The current fee for the minimum six-month rental of a third black container is $88.50 for the large 100 gallon, and $57.50 for the medium 65 gallon containers.

Disposal of Yard Waste

Yard waste such as grass and tree trimmings is non-recyclable refuse and must be placed inside your black container for collection. Additional bags of yard waste cannot be collected because the top loading design of the District's automated collection vehicles prevents the driver from taking the bundled or bagged trimmings from the curbside. Extra green waste generated by yard projects can be dumped at a local transfer station for a nominal fee, or you might consider renting a bin by calling Rainbow Disposal Service at 714-847-3581.
